What happens and when?
As we move towards our go live date we will be carrying out the following tasks:
- Today to 20 May. Testing and quality assurance to ensure the new apps and services are ready for go live
- Week commencing 9 May. Communications to patients to explain the changes and get them ready
- Saturday 21 May, overnight we will migrate data to the new platform then test everything
- Sunday 22 May, communications to patients and providers to confirm new product is live
- Monday 23 May, business as usual.
What do you need to do?
You don’t need to do anything yet. We will send you an email with a link to download the new apps when we release them in the Apple and Google/Android stores. The existing V2MD Patient apps will display a message, suggest you upgrade and stop working after 22 May 2022.
Patients have new apps with a new name
We will be disbanding the V2MD apps for Android and iOS that patients use to connect with providers to carry out a visit. There will be new apps for Android and iOS platforms. Patients will be asked to download the new app called “My MediHealth” from their platform of choice. Patients will also be able to access all the new platform using a browser on their smartphone, tablet or computer giving patients and improved experience and more device coverage and compatibility than before.
Data migration
We will be migrating all data to the new application with the exception of historical visit records. If you want a copy of your historic visit records you can contact our support team. The historic visit data will be available should you need a copy in the future. We will provide this after we release the new product.
What is changing on the product?
We took a long hard look at how you and your patients have been using our services and we are changing a lot. We have focused a lot on the user experience and making sure it is better than ever and consistent across multiple devices.
