Learn more about MediSprout
At MediSprout we believe it’s grievous that so many people are unable to access fundamental medical treatment that can make a dramatic difference in their life. We are using our resources (our voice, business, investment, imaginations) to do something about it.
We’re in business to improve lives
Today, it’s easier to maintain our cars than our health. The solutions we have are ineffectual, reactive. We have great potential to improve care. It’s time to start.
Everyone has the right to health
Healthcare is not a privilege. We believe giving patients, providers, and healthcare organizations a new suite of technology they use together will improve people’s health as well as health equity.
Do what’s right
When building healthcare solutions we must factor in medical provider burnout, overwhelmed healthcare organizations, and patients lost in a healthcare maze. It’s inexcusable to create solutions that exacerbate these issues.
Find better ways
Convention in healthcare is to create solutions that make our problems more efficient rather than fixing them. We are seeking innovative routes which fix our problems so providers and healthcare organizations can deliver better care to patients.
Use business to improve health
We’re not blind to the great business success of healthcare solutions and worsening health metrics. We believe that the challenges we have in healthcare require leadership that blazes a new path. We see a major problem in healthcare and are acting on it.
Think of others first
For medical providers it’s ingrained to think of patients first. We are reflecting that responsibility and focus on the needs of patients, providers, and healthcare organizations first. As we do, we can deliver them value – better care with less stress.
Create a culture of innovation
Our success and one of the reasons we enjoy this so much is finding new ways to do things. We promote innovation internally and in working with others.
Build virtue
Does it help a few at the expense of many? Does it serve short term needs at the expense of long term ones? Is this good for our neighborhoods, communities, and for society? We ask questions like these so we can build things that truly help people lead better lives.
Thoughts from our founder & CEO
Samant Virk, MD

We can do better. Why aren’t we?
As a physician it is unsettling when you see people every day knowing you see people’s health fall victim to healthcare delivery that is too complex and inaccessible.
Speak up when things don’t work
The technology my colleagues and I worked with to deliver patient care has major gaps. Filling in these gaps takes massive amounts of time away from patients and burns out medical providers.
Seize opportunity to make things better
They say time changes things. I waited for change to make things better and realized I have to change it myself. I left medical practice because I saw the best way to help the most people was to build more effective technology. Given the disconnected solutions I was using, we needed to build something that reflects the unique experience that medical providers live.
Build the best product
I did not set out to build a feature filled product. There are tons of those. We want to build something with purpose that helps people and improves health. The ‘features’ and experience would be born from fulfilling these ideas and values.
Better together
